M Resort Spa Casino Awarded 2011 Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Rating

For the second consecutive year, the M Resort Spa Casino was honored with a 2011 Forbes Four-Star Award by Forbes Travel Guide. The Awards ratings process is based on more than 750 standardized criteria for hotels, restaurants and spas worldwide, making it the most rigorous and comprehensive in the industry.

"To have consistently earned such prestigious recognition when we have only been in operation for 20 months is a tremendous honor and a direct reflection on our team members," said Jody Lake, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the M Resort. "They have embraced our commitment to consistently provide the very best service, atmosphere and experience to our guests and we couldn't be more proud of them."

The 390-room boutique resort opened in March 2009 and caters to both Las Vegas residents and out-of-town guests. The resort has already earned numerous accolades including the coveted titles of "Best Buffet in Las Vegas" and "Best Locals Hotel" from the city's daily newspaper. The property was also recognized by Casino Player Magazine as having the "Most Innovative Slot Floor" and was named one of the Top 10 U.S. Relaxation/Spa Hotels of 2010 by travel website TripAdvisor.

Forbes Travel Guide, formerly Mobil Travel Guide, has defined the standard of excellence in hotel, restaurant and spa experiences since 1958. The rigorous rating process begins with a facility inspection that considers every aspect of the property, including its overall cleanliness, condition and location. To achieve Forbes Travel Guide Four and Five Star status, properties must meet or exceed the bar-setting service standards, which are determined through an unannounced, undercover service evaluation conducted by Forbes Travel Guide's expert inspectors.
