Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya is launching “CocinaMOs” – weekly hands-on culinary classes where guests can create epicurean delights, discover local ingredients and explore new cuisines. With Executive Chef Ignacio Granda del Gallego leading the classes, guests will prepare a three-course lunch menu in the open show kitchen of the resort’s signature restaurant Ambar.
The menu changes weekly featuring traditional and exotic dishes from Mexico, Spain and Asia. Guests will enjoy a sit-down lunch in Ambar with views overlooking the lagoon, and taste some delicious dishes. Each course will be paired with premium Mexican wines by sommelier Eddy Yam. Classes will be held in Ambar on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
