Mandarin Oriental to Manage Marbella Resort

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will manage a luxury resort and branded Residences at Mandarin Oriental in Marbella, Spain, slated to open in 2010. The company has now announced two hotels in Spain, and has a total of nine properties open or under development in Europe and North Africa. The Mandarin Oriental, Marbella will be located within a tranquil and protected environmental area with stunning views of the Mediterranean, the Rock of Gibraltar and the Moroccan coastline. The 153-room property is a short drive from the historic city center of Marbella and the stylish resort of Puerto Banus. The development will include 19 spacious villas and 61 residential apartments named the Residences at Mandarin Oriental, providing a unique opportunity for ownership along the Andalusian coast.
