Marco Island Beach Resort is offering to flash guests the opportunity to get their own personal flash mob to commemorate a special event, birthday or anniversary. Guests will be able to get their own personal flash mob that the premier Florida resort will arrange upon request.

The Flash mob will gather a large group of people and perform a pre-defined action, typically a brief dance, and then disperse rapidly after the event has concluded. Guests can take advantage of this new offering to propose, commemorate a special birthday/anniversary, add some spice to family reunions or just surprise someone with an unforgettable vacation memory.

Since gaining popularity in social media,  Flash Mob has created awareness with television shows such as “Modern Family” and “Glee.” This fall, FOX will debut a reality show based solely on the idea entitled “Mobbed” and hosted by Howie Mandel.
