Marriott to Operate Three Hotels in India

Marriott International has teamed up with real estate developer Unitech tomanage three new hotels in India under the Courtyard brand. Located in Kolkata, Gurgaon and Noida, the Kolkata hotel is scheduled to open in 2009 while the remaining two hotels will open in 2008. Additional openings for the company include the 297-room Hyderabad Marriott, slated to open in August, and the 250-room JW Marriott Hotel Bangalore in 2008. Marriott currently manages seven hotels and residences in India.
