Mayra Veronica Honored at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas

american flagMayra Veronica was recently honored with a memorabilia case at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for her extensive work with the American military and United States Organizations Inc.

Veronica was also recognized for her work as a singer/songwriter and her latest hit song, "Freak Like Me." She joins the ranks of music icons such as Michael Jackson, Elton John, Katy Perry and Bon Jovi, who are also honored at the iconic Las Vegas hotel.

The memorabilia case consisted of Veronica's personal belongings such as the outfits worn on the music video for her song, "Freak Like Me," which was filmed at Hard Rock Hotel. Items from her scene with actor Antonio Sabato Jr., which occurred inside a red elevator located in the property's Hard Rock Hotel all-suite tower, are also displayed.

Veronica's achievements as one of history's pin-up girl, pop star and spokesperson for the USO is also celebrated in the case and represented by a medal, which was awarded to her by the chairman of the joint chief of staff during her world tour in 2011.

"I am deeply honored to be recognized by the Hard Rock Hotel and to be a part of this prestigious establishment amongst such great company," Veronica said at the unveiling of her museum piece.

The display holds a premium spot at the Hard Rock Hotel Tower's main lobby across from Madonna.

Mayra continues USO tours and is an advocate and spokesperson for The Wounded Warrior Project and the United Nations Children's Fund.
