OFFERS NEW YEAR'S DEAL

CULTURE IN PUNTA MITA

Creative clients will love the three new offerings at the on-property Cultural Center of the 165-room Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita (www.fourseasons.com/puntamita), which is forty-five minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport. Programs include "History of the Toltecs," which focuses on these artists and builders who inhabited Mesoamerica around 700 AD and worshipped Quetzalcoatl as their god and king; "Mexican Cigars," which introduces guests to the 150-year-old art of creating a handmade cigar and teaches how to identify counterfeit cigars; and "Mexican Style and Design," where guests tour the resort's new boutiques showcasing Mexico's art and celebrated designers, with items such as Polvo De Agua and Mata Ortiz ceramics, Alebrijes wood carvings and the glass sculptures of Jose Antonio Rodriguez Perez.
