The Mexico Tourism Ministry recently released its first quarter numbers, revealing a 7 percent increase from this time last year.
In fact, Mexico’s tourism revenue during that time totaled more than $4 billion. Nearly 6 million tourists visited the country from January to March while tourist spending spiked 3.5 percent to more than $800 per person.
