MGM to Open All-Suite Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay

MGM Resorts International and Morgans Hotel Group have announced plans to open an all-suite Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay in late 2013. The luxury property will debut in place of THEhotel following a complete redesign.

"The Delano South Beach experience is very special and loved worldwide, most notably in key Latin American and European markets which we have strategically identified for future growth potential," said Chuck Bowling, president and COO of Mandalay Bay.

This property will be Delano’s second in the United States.

Morgans Hotel Group will also introduce several new food and beverage concepts at Mandaly Bay under the management of The Light Group in 2013. The new culinary options will include a casual American bistro by Chef Brian Massie, a Japanese restaurant by Chef Akira Back, a revamped Red Square and a new nightclub.

The redesign will include all 1,100 all-suite accommodations, as well as the property’s bars, lounges, spa, restaurants and other public spaces.
