Miami Luxury Property The Setai Stops by Travel Agent


Representatives of The Setai, a luxury hotel in South Beach, recently stopped by our New York offices to give an update on the property. Director of Sales and Marketing Philippe Parodi stressed the point that, despite the economy, the hotel is not scaling back on service; this also means it is not offering drastic rate cuts, which have been put into play at several other top luxury hotels.

Authenticity is Key: The 85-room and 45-suite hotel, operated by General Hotel Management, boasts an Asian influence, even rotating chefs at the Asian-inspired restaurant. When asked why the property changes chefs every 18 months, General Manager Hansjoerg Meier explained that the change helps maintain the authenticity of the Asian menu, instead of evolving into a Western and Asian fusion cuisine.


Cool Factor: Celeb-sightings are almost a guarantee at The Setai, although the hotel is keeping a lid on which notables have stayed there, we are pretty sure the list is exclusive when you take into account the cool amenity that can be found within the hotel: A recording studio. The space also boasts ocean views and a private outdoor patio.
