Monaco Launches

In recognition of the importance of travel agents in helping to attract visitors to Monaco, the Monaco Government Tourist Office (MGTO) in New York has launched, a comprehensive new website designed specifically for the travel agent community.

The newest initiative in the Tourist Office’s toolbox of dedicated planning tools for agents, the new website’s clear, fresh design provides travel agents easy access to up-to-date content on the Principality including travel specials, events, samples itineraries, brochures, pictures, videos and general information, the office says.

The site also highlights a series of popular webinars featuring presentations by hoteliers giving agents a insider’s glimpse at many of the destinations’ luxurious hotels and resorts, and RSS feeds delivering Monaco news straight to agents’ smartphones, without having to visit the site directly.

“By creating a forum dedicated to travel agents, we wanted to recognize their importance as valued partners,” said Maguy Maccario, director, MGTO, North America. “The site’s design provides easy navigation; agents can find what they are looking for in no more than two clicks with the goal of making it easier for them to sell Monaco confidently and more knowledgeably to their clients.” is the latest in a series of initiatives designed specifically for travel agent partners, Monaco reports. The second series of webinars for travel agents will launch in January 2012, providing VIP access and a rare inside look at the many hotels and attractions of Monaco. MGTO also issues a monthly e-newsletter, available by request, for travel agents to receive timely news, information and offers.
