Moroccan National Tourist Office Names New Director of the Americas

The Moroccan National Tourist Office has named Rachid Maaninou director of the Americas with responsibilities that will include building Morocco’s markets in the U.S. and Latin America. Maaninou joined the Moroccan National Tourist Office in 2002 as an executive in the public relations department and held the position of director of international markets in 2005. His resume also includes stints with Moroccan travel agencies, hotels and tour operators. Maaninou will aid in the country’s goal of attracting 10 million visitors by 2010. Visit
