Music & Yoga Festival Wanders to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Wanderlust Festival, a premier yoga and music festival, is heading to The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for its first-ever, two-day celebration on The Strip this September. Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 10 and 11, “Wanderlust at The Cosmopolitan” will feature a diverse mixture of activities at the luxury resort.

“We like to provide our guests a multitude of reasons to visit The Cosmopolitan, through art, music, and great events,” said Lisa Marchese, the resort’s chief marketing officer. “Partnering with Wanderlust is an extension of this commitment.”

Yoga instruction will be offered by John Friend, a world celebrated yoga teacher and founder of Anusara yoga, and Schuyler Grant, founder of NYC’s Kula Yoga Project and Wanderlust‘s co-creator.

Friend’s classes on Saturday will highlight The Cosmopolitan’s commanding views of the Strip at The Boulevard Pool. Attendees then will be invited to an exclusive gathering with Friend and Grant that includes a complimentary wine tasting. In the evening, Thievery Corporation, a DJ duo that has sold more than 1.2 million albums, will provide an open-air performance.

On Sunday morning, Grant will bring the weekend festival to a close with a unique class titled “The Healing Power of Yoga.” Additional attractions will include burlesque, hooping, and fire dance performances.

In describing Wanderlust, co-founder Jeff Krasno says the festival “creates experiences in amazing settings that are simultaneously fun and inspiring. We practice our yoga and meditation by day, and let loose on the dance floor at night.”

During the event, smartwater and Luna Bar are scheduled to have interactive booths offering free product and festive giveaways.

Tickets, which went on sale July 21, are available for a special advance price of $108 (plus taxes and fees) through August 9. One and two-night packages including accommodations at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas are also available. Package prices start at $345 (plus taxes and fees).

All tickets and packages can be purchased through vegas.wanderlustfestival.com
