The Nepal Tourism Board is reporting that Maoists have declared an immediate, unilateral ceasefire lasting three months. In a situation update issued Thursday, the board says the ceasefire, along with King Gyanendra's April 24 proclamation reinstating Parliament, is welcome news and "will definitely bring impetus in the tourism scenario."
