New Boutique Hotel to Open in Chester, England

People who want to see more of England than just London will appreciate ABode, a new four-star boutique hotel (and member of Epoque Hotels) that is opening this summer in Chester

The 85-room hotel, close to to Chester’s popular ‘Roodee’ racecourse, offers a convenient base for visitors to explore the city’s Roman ruins and Cathedral as well as the boutiques nested amongst The Rows, the historic two-tier shopping galleries. Visitors can also easily access the Welsh countryside or the nearby cities of Liverpool and Manchester.

With floor-to-ceiling windows, Michael Caines' Champagne Bar and Restaurant on the fifth floor offers views of the city as far as the Welsh Hills. The 76-seat restaurant offers private dining facilities as well as the opportunity to dine alfresco on the outside terrace. With a commitment to sourcing local produce guests can choose from à la carte, tasting and ‘grazing’ menus.
