New Caribbean Airlines Flights From New York to Tobago

The Division of Tourism and Transportation for Tobago announced Caribbean Airlines will launch a new flight between New York’s JFK International Airport and Tobago’s Crown Point International Airport, beginning December 12.

Tobago’s Secretary of Tourism and Transportation Oswald Williams announced that the service will operate every Sunday on the airline’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which has a seat capacity of 154 passengers.

Caribbean Airlines flight BW529 will depart JFK every Sunday at 2:35 p.m. and arrive at Tobago’s Crown Point International Airport at 7:30 p.m. Flight BW528 will depart Tobago at 7:35 a.m., arriving at JFK at 12:40 p.m., allowing time for connections throughout the U.S. and Canada.

“The U.S. market is an important and natural one for Tobago’s niche markets of scuba diving, eco and soft adventure and weddings and honeymoons,” said Tobago’s Director of Tourism Warren Solomon in a written release. “The easier we make it for Americans to visit Tobago, the greater chance we have of growing our arrivals and diversifying our customer base.”
