New Indian Wildlife Circuit Under Development

A joint venture by Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces and Conservation Corporation Africa is creating an Indian wildlife circuit, providing travelers with interpretive wildlife experiences. Under the collaboration, lodges will be built in five reserves in India—Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Pench Tiger Reserve, Corbett Tiger Reserve, Kanha Tiger Reserve and Panna Tiger Reserve. The lodges, to be placed on the border of these reserves, will provide travelers with a choice of tented, tree house or suite accommodations. Work has begun on the lodge at the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, and opening is set for Oct. 15, in time for the best tiger-viewing season.
