ResortQuest Hawaii has been going through a flurry of new appointments.
Dawn Kane was named vice president of ResortQuest Real Estate of Hawaii, LLC. Kane was most recently the general manager of the ResortQuest Mahana at Kaanapali.
Kane brings more than 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She previously served in multiple positions at a variety of Maui properties, including assistant front office manager at Napili Shores, front desk supervisor and reservations manager at Kaanapali Shores, reservations manager at Sands of Kahana, assistant general manager at Kamaole Sands and general manager of Whalers Realty Management Company.
Daniel Trankina was named regional sales manager for ResortQuest Hawaii, overseeing the midwest, east coast, southeast and eastern Canada regions, Trankina is headquartered in Chicago and will focus on generating revenue in the region. Trankina was most recently regional sales manager for Creative Leisure International and previously was the regional sales manager for Royal Caribbean International.
Nikki Shanley was appointed to the position of regional sales and national account manager. Shanley will be based in Northern California and her territory will include Northern California, Utah, Colorado and Kansas. Shanley will also be responsible for the maintenance and development of national account relationships, including Carlson Wagonlit, e-Travco, Travelsavers, Westa, Ensemble, and Vacation.com. Shanley was most recently with Pleasant Holidays as the business development manager. Shanley’s experience also includes having worked with Runaway Tours and Thomas Cook Holidays as well as working as a travel agent with two major agencies in the Sacramento area.
