We hear that Solís Cambrian Hotel & Spa in Adelboden, which is located in the Swiss Alps, is now open. The ski resort was relaunched two months ago, following a complete refurbishment that repositioned it to a luxury hotel. New touches include a sun terrace, a winter garden, a Mediterranean restaurant called Nova, Scott’s après-ski bar and a spa. To get to Adelboden, clients should fly into Bern, which is a 40-minute road or rail journey away, or to Zurich and Geneva, from where there are easy train connections to the resort.

The Solís brand is the brainchild of Horst Schulze, the former CEO of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Visit www.solisadelboden.com.
