New MGM Mirage Exec To Extend Brands Globally

MGM Mirage Hospitality, a subsidiary of MGM Mirage formed in May 2007 to extend the company’s hotel brands and develop new luxury hotel brand concepts in the U.S. and abroad, has appointed Michael Evans as executive vice president of global development.

Evans will direct the company’s strategy plan, identifying and pursuing global opportunities. The company already has announced an agreement to develop MGM Grand Abu Dhabi and is in further discussions for several additional development opportunities around the world. Evans most recently served as senior vice president of international hotel development for Marriott International.
