The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the new Radisson Blu Milan, scheduled to open in early 2010.
The 250-room property is the first Radisson Blu in Milan and the company's second property in Italy. Previously the Chedi Milan, the hotel is situated in the Bovisa district just north of the city center and minutes from Milan's major trade fairs.
The hotel has a full-service spa with indoor swimming pool; a restaurant, bar and lounge with indoor and outdoor seating; and over 8,600 square feet of meeting and conference space.
Radisson Blu Milan joins the existing Radisson Blu Hotel Rome in Italy's capital. Recent Radisson Blu developments in major European cities include the opening of two boutique hotels in Paris; a resort in Dubrovnik, Croatia; and a major renovation to a city-center hotel in Hamburg.
