From a new outdoor fire pit designed to making dining under the stars even more romantic to a new bridal collection, here at the latest offerings for couples at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina 

The newest feature when dining under the stars (and moon) at JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina is the outdoor fire pit.  It’s an ideal location for an intimate gathering because of its beachfront location surrounded by lighted Hawaiian torches. 
 
Clients may reserve the fire pit for special occasions and are required to make their reservation at least 24 hours in advance. There’s also a minimum $500 order on food and beverage items that can be selected from the new Fire Pit Tapas Menu.

JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa offers the Makali’i Bridal Collection that features three bridal packages, which couples can wed oceanfront with the sound of waves gently lapping, or under soaring coconut trees, surrounded by tropical flowers and waterfalls near the wedding gazebo. Four Seasons Resorts Lanai is putting the spotlight on 10 romance travel packages with a set of special offers.

As part of the Stay Longer promotion, clients who stay three nights can get a fourth night free on Lanai. At Manele Bay, rates for the deal start at $404 while The Lodge at Koele offers rooms from $254, valid now through September 30.

Ride Off Into the Sunset

A horseback ride at sunset ends with champagne for two with views of Maui, Molokai, Kahoolawe and possibly the Big Island of Hawaii. Couples can enjoy a private dining experience in The Lodge at Koele’s Orchid House. The dinner includes a champagne cocktail and a five-course tasting menu. Alternatively, at the new Nobu Lanai, clients can cook for each other using a tableside sizzling lava rock as part of the Nobu Lava Rock experience. 

Love-ly Legends

This hike heads up Puu Pehe (Sweetheart Rock) next to Hulopoe Bay at sunrise. Legend has it that Pehe, the wife of a Lanai warrior, died and her heartbroken husband buried her at the top of Puu Pehe then jumped from the 80-foot summit to the surf below, unable to bear his sorrow.

Take a Dole Stroll 

A walk around Dole Park, named after the company whose Lanai plantation supplied the world with pineapples, takes in a village square lined with towering Cook pines and plantation buildings housing general stores, restaurants, art galleries, clothing boutiques and more. 

Capture the Moment

Romantic clients can commission a sketch or painting by local artist Mike Carroll. Mike moved from Chicago to Lanai to pursue his life-long passion for art and nature and his original oil paintings and prints celebrate Hawaii.
