New Tropicana Resort in Las Vegas to Host El Súper Clásico

SoccerThe New Tropicana hotel in Las Vegas will host El Súper Clásico, a soccer match between Club América and Club Deportivo Guadalajara, also known as Chivas. The match will be played for the first time in Las Vegas on July 3, 2013. As the host hotel, the resort will welcome the players and coaches of both teams, and will also offer exclusive and limited meet-and-greet packages for fans coming to see the game.

“We are honored to serve as host hotel for El Súper Clásico,” said Danny Wade, president and chief operating officer for Tropicana Las Vegas. “We look forward to hosting the teams and their coaches at our newly transformed resort, and look forward to welcoming their many fans.”

Packages start at $495 and include a three-night stay for two in best-in-class accommodations and two tickets for P1 seats at El Súper Clásico, which will take place at Sam Boyd Stadium on July 3. For fans who would like access to the players, a limited amount of packages are available for $795 that include admission for two for a meet-and-greet with select players of Club América or Chivas, in addition to a three-night stay for two at Tropicana Las Vegas and two tickets for P1 seats at the event.
