Los Angeles lifestyle hospitality company sbe has announced plans for the debut of The Redbury Hotel in New York City in the first quarter of 2016.

sbe, the company behind the Redbury and SLS hotel brands, will convert the Martha Washington Hotel into a Redbury under the direction of sbe Founder and CEO Sam Nazarian and photographer and creative director Matthew Rolston. When it opens the hotel will draw on the neighborhood's history as "Tin Pan Alley," incorporating pop music elements into its design and guest experience.

Signature restaurant Marta will remain open on the property's ground-floor level. The Redbury New York will be a member of the Preferred Hotels & resorts Lifestyle collection.
