Island Destinations, an upscale operator based in Larchmont, NY, is adding the Maldives and Dubai to its roster in the new year.

Each of the 11 properties in the two new destinations was inspected by Island Destinations staff. Among the seven Maldives properties available through Island Destinations are Dhoni Mighili, which provides guests not only with a 65-foot dhoni (traditional Maldivian sailboat), but also a beach bungalow. At Huvafen Fushi, draws include underwater massage treatment rooms.
