Hilton Garden Inn recently announced the opening of its second property in Hawaii, the brand’s first property in the Waikiki area of Honolulu.
The newly redeveloped Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach, managed by Evolution Hospitality, brings 623 new rooms to the Hilton Garden Inn brand.
The hotel is located only two blocks from the famous Waikiki Beach, across the street from the revitalized International Market Place and 25 minutes from the Honolulu International Airport.
It is within walking distance of a variety of the shopping, dining, cultural institutions and adventure activities for which the island of Oahu is known. Guests can easily walk to the world-class shopping and dining along Kalakaua Avenue, the Honolulu Zoo and the Ala Wai Golf Course. The USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head State Monument, Polynesian Cultural Center and Waimea Falls are also popular attractions.
Adventure activities are abundant, and guests can choose from surfing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, diving, biking, fishing, sunbathing and sightseeing within the Waikiki resort area. Guests can rely on additional suggestions from community-oriented Hilton Garden Inn Team Members or consult the Activities Concierge Desk located in the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach for things to do and places to eat.
Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach recently underwent an extensive $115 million redevelopment and now features a lively living-room style lobby with communal seating and classic Hawaiian design. Guests will be able to experience high wooden ceilings, bordered by gallery-lit Hawaiian kapa prints on reclaimed wood and a color palette that pays homage to the beauty of the islands through natural materials, finishes and textures.
