NYC Anguilla Tourism Event Draws Over 150 Agents

The Anguilla Tourist Board's North America office hosted a trade reception June 3 in conjunction with Cap Juluca, CuisinArt, Malliouhana, Viceroy, The Charming Escapes Collection and Villas of Anguilla.

The event, which drew over 150 travel agents, was held at The Pierre Hotel in Manhattan.

On the speaking panel were the Hon. Hubert Hughes, chief minister and minister of finance, economic development, invetstment, commer and tourism; the Hon. Haydn Hughes, parliamentary secretary with responsibility for tourism; Anguilla Tourist Board's Chairman, Eustace Guishard; and Acting Director of Tourism, Merlyn Rogers.

The event kicked off with an informal trade show, where Anguilla's stake holders had the chance to speak one-on-one with travel agents. This was followed by a formal presentations.
