NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2011 is set to take place from July 11-24, marking the 12th consecutive season that diners will be able to feast on prix-fixe three-course meals throughout New York as part of the annual event.
Prices for the prix-fixe three-course meals will remain $24.07 for lunch and $35 for dinner (excluding beverages, taxes and gratuities). Diners will be able to take advantage of the limited-time meal prices from Mondays through Fridays; Saturdays are excluded and Sundays are optional for participating restaurants. Next year marks NYC Restaurant Week’s 20th anniversary as the world’s first restaurant week.

NYC Restaurant Week began in 1992 as a one-time dining program to welcome the National Democratic Convention to town. Since then, the city’s largest gastronomic event has grown from 95 restaurants to more than 300, and has developed to include exclusive dining benefits, sweepstakes, consumer events and products.
