Oasis Hotels and Resorts will open the second resort in its Sens line next year in Cancun, the same place its first Sens is located.
Sens Del Mar is scheduled to open in March 2008. Guest rooms feature premium bedding, plasma TVs, iPod docking stations and in-room aromatherapy scents. Resort facilities include an infinity pool overlooking a 650-foot beach and the Caribbean Sea. Six restaurants offer Mexican specialties as well as cuisines from around the world. There will also be six bars, a spa, a fitness center, a marina and access to an executive nine-hole golf course at the nearby Grand Oasis Cancun. All-inclusive rates at the Sens Del Mar start at $167 per person double per night.
The Sens brand, which launched with the Sens Cancun, was designed to “seduce the senses” of guests, according to Oasis. Sens properties are boutique-style, Zen-like hotels designed for discerning.
