Oberoi Mumbai Will Reopen April 24

Following extensive renovation and restoration, The Oberoi, Mumbai is ready to reopen its doors Saturday, April 24. In 2008 the hotel was under siege, leaving it devastated, but 2010 promises to be a new beginning for the luxury property.

As part of its brand new face- and body-lift, the hotel features 287 guestrooms and suites, all outfitted with the latest technology.

The hotel is also introducing three restaurants, a lounge and a bar. Ziya will serve Indian specialities concocted by Michelin-starred Chef Vineet Bhatia. Fenix, an all-day dining venue, will offer world cuisine. Vetro, which will specialize in Italian, will also house Enoteca, a wine library showcasing 1,200 bottles of wine.

Other amenities include an outdoor heated swimming pool, The Oberoi Spa and a fitness center.
