Onsite: Palazzo Opens In Las Vegas

The newest mega resort in Las Vegas, The Palazzo, made its grand debut Thursday evening when Chairman and CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, Sheldon Adelson, ceremoniously flipped a switch to set off a fireworks display inaugurating the newest property on the Strip. The Palazzo is a sister property to the famed Venetian located next door. Together these properties have more than 7,000 rooms, making it the largest hotel complex in the world.

The property features spacious suites; restaurants by top celebrity chefs such as Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse, Mario Batali and Charlie Trotter; the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys and 40/40 Club, a Las Vegas version of the New York sports bar and lounge owned by rapper Jay-Z; The Shoppes at The Palazzo featuring luxury stores anchored by Las Vegas' first-ever Barneys New York; and, the largest Canyon Ranch SpaClub to date. It also has a Lamborghini dealership, which is set to open shortly. Visit http://www.palazzolasvegas.com. (GH)
