MGM GRAND OPENS CASINO RESORT IN MACAU

MGM Mirage has opened a 600-room, 35-story casino resort on China's Macau peninsula in a joint venture called MGM Grand Paradise with Pansy Ho Chiu-king, a local real estate and hospitality investor. The MGM Grand Macau, in the Nam Van gaming district, has a casino offering approximately 375 table games, 900 slot machines and 16 private gaming salons. A focal point is the glass ceiling that rises 82 feet above the floor of the resort. Other top features include convention space—with a Grand Ballroom that maxes out at nearly 8,700 square feet—a world-class spa and several restaurants serving a wide range of cuisines. Guests can enjoy Cantonese food at Imperial Court, dine at a Hong Kong-style café or go to the Russian Room for an evening drink. For more information, visit www.mgmgrandmacau.com.
