These new rooms are housed across four buildings, three, three-story buildings with 54 rooms each, and one two-story building which include 15 rooms – composed of eight swim-up Junior Suites, six Loft Suites with ocean views and one Presidential Suite.

Additionally, the rooms on the top floors feature a covered terrace with a circular Jacuzzi built in a wooden deck reminiscent of a Bali-style resting area, all under a wooden pergola that filters the bright Caribbean sunlight. The two-story Loft Suites are larger, and feature outdoor Jacuzzis on both floors and a Bali-style bed on the roof terrace.

Additional renovations at the Resort include an updated lobby, featuring a new terrace; renovations to the existing amphi theater; upgrades to La Catedral, the on-site buffet-style restaurant; new terrace and private seating area for the Asian restaurant and new terrace and wine cellar for the Spanish a la carte restaurant.

In addition to the new guest rooms and updates to the lobby, restaurants and theatre in 2013, Palladium invested $10 million dollars in 2012 to renovate guest rooms, pools and its Kids Club, says Cristina Serra, director of marketing for the Palladium Hotel Group.

The last renovation phase of the remaining 168 guest rooms in the complex will be completed by the end of the month, says Serra.
