The Panama Tourism Authority has launched a social media platform on Facebook named CurtaPanama, geared specifically to inviting Brazilian travelers to actively engage in and follow conversations for the latest on travel to Panama.
Through CurtaPanama, a Facebook fan page, Brazilian users will be able virtually visit this country with one simple mouse click. The platform will also offer special promotions and contests for users to engage, discuss, and interact on a variety of topics such as tourist attractions, events and new hotel developments.
According to a media release, the idea behind launching CurtaPanama for the Brazilian market is to establish direct conversations specifically with this particular audience, and to ultimately create and maintain loyal followers.
CurtaPanama follows similar social media platforms for Panama – EnjoyPanama and DisfrutaPanama – that presently account for more than 57,000 fans on Facebook and Twitter.
