Sandals Weddings by Martha Stewart gives clients six themes to choose from for a perfect wedding |
We first told you of an impressive collaboration between Sandals Resorts International and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia last month—a four-year deal with a two-year mutual option to extend for Sandals Weddings by Martha Stewart. As of now, clients can book a destination wedding for any time after January 1, 2010, at any of the 18 Luxury Included Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts across the Caribbean.
Here’s a rundown of the six wedding themes:
Beautiful Beginnings
The Beautiful Beginnings package includes a magenta dendrobium bouquet and boutonniere, and table for four with linens, a centerpiece and a white cake. For couples who book a minimum six-night wedding stay in a concierge category or higher at any Sandals Resort or Beaches Resort, Beautiful Beginnings will be included at no additional cost.
Flutter of Romance
With the Flutter of Romance package comes a pale pink cake or round mini-cakes, among other amenities. The bridal bouquet, boutonniere and centerpieces are made of pink and fuchsia roses and magenta orchids. Price: $1,500 in Jamaica; $1,700 in St. Lucia, Antigua and the Bahamas; and $1,900 in Turks and Caicos.
Vision in White
This package is the classic white wedding in an island setting. White orchids and gladiolas make up the bouquet. Clients have the choice of a white cake or cupcakes, both with doily accents. White pillar candles wrapped in eyelet fabric are placed on the reception table. Price: $2,500 in Jamaica; $2,700 in St. Lucia, Antigua and the Bahamas; and $2,900 in Turks and Caicos.
Seaside Serenade
Your clients can exchange vows under a bamboo ceremony arch strung with strands of capiz shells. The reception is at a table set with seashell, coral and sand accents. Your clients have the choice of an aqua fondant cake with coral accents or cupcakes topped with white sugar seashells. Price: $3,000 in Jamaica; $3,200 in St. Lucia, Antigua and the Bahamas; and $3,400 in Turks and Caicos.
Chic & Natural
This includes a ceremony and reception accented with white and green orchids, polished black river stones, and touches of natural linen. Clients can choose a green cake topped with a white camellia or cupcakes topped with green orchids. Price: $3,600 in Jamaica; $3,800 in St. Lucia, Antigua and the Bahamas; and $4,000 in Turks and Caicos.
Island Paradise
Orchids are arranged in magenta, pink, orange and yellow to go with the colors of a soft, warm Caribbean evening. Banana leaves cover the bamboo ceremony arch, while wood trays filled with tropical fruits and bright blooms serve as centerpieces. The cake is covered in fresh orchids. Island Paradise is priced at $6,000 at all resorts; ceremonies begin at 5 p.m.
