Pink's Hot Dogs to Open at Las Vegas Planet Hollywood

Some very famous dogs are about to make their Vegas debut.

Celeb-friendly L.A. favorite Pink's Hot Dogs will open a new location at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino this coming August. The spot will be accessible to foot traffic walking along Las Vegas Blvd. and will offer 14 kinds of hot dogs, including the popular Stretch Chili Cheese Dog, Chicago Polish Dog and Rosie O'Donnell Long Island Dog. Unlike the original Pink's, the Vegas edition will sell alcoholic beverages and offer indoor and outdoor seating.

The Hollywood Pink's

Founded in 1939, Pink's started as a family-owned business in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles. The cash-only joint's menu claims to be the "Home of the World's Best Chili Dog," and a few famous frequenters have been honored with menu items in their name, including Martha Stewart and Ozzy Osbourne.

Billy Richardson, CEO of this venture, says Vegas is a natural fit for Pink's. “With its blend of celebrity kitsch, quality food and great value, this is a perfect time to bring the iconic Pink’s brand to Las Vegas,” Richardson says. “With its prime location right on the Las Vegas Strip, Pink’s will enjoy tremendous foot traffic and will bring a new ‘gourmet fast-food’ flair to Las Vegas.”
