Presidente InterContinental Cozumel To Re-open in October

The Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa will re-open Oct. 1 following an extensive $25 million renovation and redevelopment project. The resort, which will be built to five-star standards, will feature completely redesigned rooms and suites, featuring luxurious furnishings and wide-screen plasma TVs. The resort will see a new room category of one and two bedroom Ocean Suites; the resort's 220 rooms and suites will all offer balconies or terraces. Other new resort facilities include an expanded "Scuba Du" dive and watersports center, golf putting green, second adults only pool and bar, "Chiqui Club" for children, and a retail courtyard featuring shops and tennis courts.
