Travel Agent learned Tuesday that the Peru Export and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) is launching a new online Peru Specialist program at www.PeruAgent.com. The program aims to provide an interactive and educational sales resource for North American travel agents. The Peru Specialist Certification for graduating travel agents will not only provide travel agents with the most up-to-date sales information on Peru's diverse tour experiences, but it will give participants direct access to strategic partner travel packages and provide travel agents with exclusive destination specialist certification that will increase their competitive edge and augment sales. After becoming a Peru Specialist, certified travel agents will have additional opportunities to receive exclusive tour operator commissions and be eligible for periodic sales contests, fam trips, continuing destination education programming, and more.
