PUNTACANA Resort and Club in the Dominican Republic announced the complete refurbishment of the deluxe accommodations at the resort and club’s Puntacana Hotel, as well as a new VIP meeting package, in celebration of PUNTACANA Resort and Club’s 40th anniversary year.
Located on 105 acres within the resort property, the refurbishment has modernized the hotel’s deluxe accommodations. Due for completion on October 31, the hotel’s new look will include flat-screen TV installations, extensive interior paint work, and new bedding throughout the 186-room property. Established in 1979, Puntacana Hotel is in close proximity to the resort’s restaurants, two golf courses, ecological foundation and Six Senses Spa.
In addition to the refurbishment, Puntacana Hotel will also be offering a ‘Meeting Planner’s Dream’ package from $199 a night. The package will include privileged access to the resort’s many facilities. Meeting attendees will receive roundtrip transportation, a welcome cocktail reception, daily meals, waived meeting room rentals, daily morning breaks, discounted golf fees with preferred tee times at P.B. Dye’s La Cana golf course and Tom Fazio’s new Corales Golf Course, discounted pricing at Six Senses Spa and access to the 1,500 acres of ecological reserve complete with natural spring water lagoons. The package will be available until the summer 2010.
