Qantas Makes Emergency Landing

Qantas suffered another setback yesterday when a plane made an emergency landing after its cockpit filled with smoke.

According to the Mirror and other sources, pilots on the Sydney to Buenos Aires Boeing 747 flight, carrying 221 people, had to use oxygen masks, dump fuel and turn back.

Qantas blamed an electrical fault. Three of its flights have been hit by problems this month.

After an engine exploded on an A380 superjumbo, Rolls-Royce yesterday said it will replace those with oil leaks in Qantas's fleet.
