Located on Hawaii's Waikiki, Queen Kapiolani Hotel is the newest member of hotel management company Aqua Hotels & Resorts. Renovated by YHB Hospitality Group, the hotel has 19 stories and 312 rooms, featuring guest rooms with private lanai, a third floor swimming pool and sundeck, ballroom and the Kulana Terrace Restaurant & Bar.
Following the purchase of the hotel in 2009, the group spent more than $5 million to renovate and upgrade the property, including the improvement of the hotel's exterior and entrance. In addition, renovations include the sundeck with new pool furniture and pool bar and guest rooms with new carpet, furniture and bedding. Room features include a private lanai, high-speed Internet access, a refigerator and a coffee maker.
