Record Year for Dusseldorf International Airport

The first half of 2010 has shown substantial growth in usage of Dusseldorf International Airport. Since January, almost 8.4 million passengers have used the airport, an increase of 4 percent compared to the same period last year.

The first three weeks of this year's summer have brought in 15 million travelers alone, July 15 being a record-breaking day with 74,500 passengers coming through that day.

Dusseldorf is repositioning itself in the world as a new hub for international vacation and business, and these numbers only confirm its progress.
