Regent Hotels & Resorts is turning its attention to Asia with the appointment of Cai Shuo as the new Vice President Development for China.

Shuo has over 27 years of hospitality experience, including appointments with The Great Wall Sheraton Hotel Beijing, Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels and Resorts, the Longement Hotels Management Company Limited and most recently Pan Pacific Hotels Group, where he served as vice president of business development (China).

Regent has expansion plans for luxury hotels in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Sanya, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Qingdao, Dalian, Shenzhen, Xiamen and more.
