Christian Maiel, regional director of sales for the Caribbean at AMResorts, passed away as the result of a car accident in the Dominican Republic on October 7. According to Alex Zozaya, president of AMResorts, Maiel joined AMResorts in 2008 as Regional Director of Sales, Caribbean and, “quickly became an integral part in the success of our growing company. He treated clients like family with the philosophy that everyone was first his friend, and then his client.”
Maiel is survived by his wife, Olga Martinez, and their daughters, Alejandra and Melanie Maiel.
