Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino in Aruba recently announced the appointment of Sergio Pereira as the new director of beverage and food.
In his new role, Pereira will be spearheading the resort’s effort in revamping restaurant menus at Papagayo Bar & Grill, Aquaris, BLUE, L.G Smith’s Steak & Chop House, The Lounge Midnight Grill, Sole and Capitan’s Corner, as well as adding new refined and modern dinning options to highlight the resort’s offerings.
Pereira brings more than 20 years of experience in various markets including the U.S., Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East.
Looking to utilize his past cruise and hotel hospitality experiences, Pereira will aim to introduce new worldly flavors and practices that will align and elevate the Renaissance brand.
“As director of beverage and food, I am looking to channel my expertise and add definition to all of the resort’s menus in an effort to have each restaurant and bar foster its own identity," said Pereira in a written release. “We are taking the momentum of the resort’s recent renovations and carrying it out through improvements in its gastronomy offerings.”
