Reno's Peppermill Hotel Casino To Host 2008 Governor's Conference on Tourism

The Peppermill Hotel Casino in Reno will be the site for the 2008 Governor’s Conference on Tourism December 8-10. The hotel just opened in December the new $400 million 600-room Tuscany Tower.

The Governor’s Conference on Tourism brings together top industry leaders, Nevada legislators and travel media to present and examine new trends in the tourism industry. The event also provides discussion on how to improve Nevada’s most prominent industry—tourism. “This event serves as a significant analysis and planning tool for the state’s primary industry,” said Brian Krolicki, Nevada’s Lt. Governor. Added Tim Maland, Nevada’s tourism director, “Our conference is designed to address key topics in tourism, spotlight Nevada’s newest attractions, offer a premier networking opportunity and attract top industry professionals.” Visit www.travelnevada.com.
