Report: Venice Has Most Expensive Hotels in Italy

An internal price survey conducted by hotel and hospitality portal HRS is reporting that Venice hotels are the most expensive in Italy, according to AGI.it.

The HRS 2011 price survey also points to a year-on-year rise in average booking costs in Venice, Florence, Milan and Genoa; while Rome, Turin and Bologna have become less expensive. The survey also underscores that, throughout the country, hotel prices have risen year-on-year. A break-down in figures rates the average cost of a room in Venice at $155 per night. Milan is next in line at $128.
