Rock Band “Survivor” to Perform at M Pavilion in Las Vegas

SurvivorThe rock band Survivor is scheduled to perform at the 2,300-seat M Pavilion at M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas on May 28. 

Lead vocalist and 21-year-old Nashville resident Cameron Barton will be performing alongside the original band members of Survivor, playing some of the group’s top hits including the Rocky III theme song, “Eye Of The Tiger,” and other well-known rock anthems. 

Survivor released their first album in 1980, later making a debut on the Billboard Hot 100 the following year with “Poor Man’s Son.” In 1982, Sylvester Stallone asked the band to create the Rocky theme song, and Survivor’s biggest hit, “Eye Of The Tiger,” remained at 'No. 1' for seven weeks, ultimately winning a Grammy Award, People’s Choice Award and an Academy Award nomination. Other popular songs by the band include “Burning Heart,” "I Can't Hold Back" and "The Search Is Over".
