The Sands at Grace Bay in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, has unveiled an entirely new website that offers a simple design, easy-to-use navigation and new consumer-friendly content, including resources for first-time travelers.
Highlights of the new Sands at Grace Bay website include a dedicated “Families” section, complete with child-friendly dining and family favorite island attraction recommendations; a comprehensive Turks and Caicos Weddings Guide that assists couples in planning their dream destination wedding in Turks and Caicos, and features the resort’s highly affordable and customizable beach wedding ceremony packages; and an enhanced “Excursions” tab featuring a vast array of optional island excursions available to resort guests, ranging from scuba diving and snorkeling trips to guided horseback riding and caving tours.
The website also includes detailed resort location and accommodation information, a photo gallery, videos and more.
The Sands at Grace Bay has also recently expanded its social media presence by adding a resort Pinterest page and Instagram account, in addition to the resort’s Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ pages - that have seen significant growth in followers and active fans over the past year.
To celebrate the resort’s continued social media success and to encourage more social media engagement amongst resort guests during the Caribbean winter high-season, the resort is offering guests the chance to win a future 3-night stay in a one-bedroom oceanview suite by entering its #SandsSelfie contest.
The contest encourages guests to capture and share fun and memorable selfie photos of their Turks and Caicos trip and stay at The Sands, located on Grace Bay Beach. The steps to enter the contest are as follows: 1) guests must take a #SandsSelfie photo from the resort property, 2) post it onto the resort’s Facebook (Facebook.com/thesandsatgracebay) or Instagram (Instagram.com/thesandstc) account using the #SandsSelfie hashtag, 3) and “follow” the resort on Facebook and Instagram to receive winner notification.
The #SandsSelfie contest is happening now through March 31. When the contest ends, one #SandsSelfie photo taken on the resort property will be randomly selected from either the resort’s Facebook or Instagram account as the winner. Photos from current or past guests must include the hashtag #SandsSelfie in their photo descriptions during the specific contest period, to be entered. Those who enter must “follow” the resort Facebook or Instagram pages, to receive the winner notification. One winner will receive a gift certificate for a free 3-night stay in a 1-bedroom Oceanview Suite for a future visit to The Sands at Grace Bay – that can be redeemed within one year from the date it’s awarded.
