SeaDream Switches to Euro Pricing On European Itineraries

SeaDream Yacht Club will begin pricing its European itineraries in Euros on April 14, a move that Larry Pimentel, SeaDream’s president and CEO, ostensibly called a “matter of convenience for European guests,” but may further signify the declining value and even global relevance of the U.S. dollar.

Pricing in the Americas, Australia and Asia will continue to be listed in U.S. dollars and onboard purchases will remain in U.S. dollars. Current or new SeaDream bookings will also continue to be priced in U.S. dollars until the switchover on the 14th.
The new pricing structure will also follow to the commission side: agents located in the U.S. will be paid in U.S. dollars; Euros will be the method of payment for agents on the European continent.

SeaDream already uses Euro pricing for its charter business in Europe and Scandinavia. Visit www.seadream.com.
